To start off the year CVTV asked students opinions on the new schedule change, met the new librarian Ms. Stulock, asked student government about the showdown theme this year, and recapped the schools first carnaval.

I have been in this class since beginning of freshman year and it has been awesome! I love being in this class because I have learned how to work well with others and create stories that show emotion and meaning over the screen. I have 2 younger sisters and I was born in raised in Houston, Texas and have lived here in Castle Rock for 8 years now. I love doing anything outside, listening to good music, and I love Colorado! I am a sophomore at Castle View High School. This is my 2nd year working in media, I did multimedia in middle school and I'm with CVTV now. I really enjoy filming and editing different sports, specifically editing the videos. I film dirt bikes, snowboarders and skiers and cars. I typical love the editing part because its fun to be creative and come up with cool transitions and edits. I would love to have this as a side hobby in my future thats why I am taking this class to expand my skills.
Hi, my name is Makenzie Daniel. I’m a sophomore and this is my first year involved in CV Student Media! I enjoy hiking, baking, and reading in my free time. In this past year I have really enjoyed working as a reporter and learning all the important parts of journalism and broadcast media. I’m the oldest kid in my family to my younger brother. I try hard to be involved in the Castle View Community! Thank you for watching CVTV!
My name is Mae West and this is my third year in CVTV and my second year as an executive producer. Being an executive producer means assigning people segments, overviewing the production process, and helping with editing among other things. I'm in this class because I love telling the stories of Castle View, but even more than that, I love the people of this school and learning who they are. Outside of CVTV, I enjoy painting, volleyball and a little bit of DDR. I hope to study law in college after high school!
This is my third year in CV Student Media, and my fifth year in student journalism. During this time I have grown a lot as a videographer and improved my editing skills with the help of my peers. I love spending time with my friends and going out a lot. I like to explore and travel often by visiting new states, towns, and places. I'm an Executive Producer for CVTV which overviews the production progress including, planning, filming, editing, and post-production. I'm in CVTV because I like to share people's stories and interests and find the "why?" behind them.
I'm am a sophomore at Castle View High School, and this is my second year in the media program. I join this class because I did media in the middle school and want to continue in high school. I have a lot of fun in this class with my friends. I play football for the school.
This is my second year at Castle View High School and in the student media program. I have chose to take CVTV because of the creative freedom the class allows me in creating segments. Outside of school I like to skateboard and make skateboard designs. Additionally, I work at Legacy Village, a retirement community in Castle Pines, as a dining room server.
