Study Season

Junior Shayla Levine and senior Ally Stewart share different methods of preparing for the SAT

Do you have any tips to study for the SAT?

“Make sure you give yourself a little time each day to practice, also give yourself breaks so you don’t get burnt out,” Levine said.

“Use a website like khan academy to keep track of your studying,” Stewart said.

What are some study methods that work best for you?

“Some study methods that work for me are reading things aloud, rewriting, and color coding,” Levine said.

“I use websites to study that basically quiz me,” Stewart said.

How do you find time to study between school and extracurriculars?

“It’s hard to find time to study, but when I am doing schoolwork/homework I try to add at least 30 minutes to the end of that and make it a priority,” Levine said.

“I try to find time on the weekends and right before I do homework,” Stewart said.
