Freshman Robert Elder has been playing baseball for ten years and has made many memorable experiences.

 

What sport do you play? 

  • “I play baseball,” Elder said

How long have you been playing baseball? 

  • “I have been playing baseball for ten years,” Elder said. 

What originally made you want to join baseball? 

  • “The game looked fun and my friends started playing,” Elder said.   

What’s the best part of competing in baseball? 

  • “The best part about the competition is the drive and motivation you need to win a game,” Elder said. 

What emotions do you get when you play well? 

  • “When I play well I’m happy with myself but not satisfied, but when my team plays well, I’m excited for what’s to come,” Elder said. 

What are three reasons you like about being a part of a team sport? 

  • “One the bond you make with your teammates, Two the fact that you play with your friends, Three you work together to succeed,” Elder said.   

What has been your best experience of playing baseball? 

  • “The best experience I’ve had in baseball is in Cooperstown N.Y for a baseball tournament,” Elder said.
