If you wanted to get to prom you needed a 50 dollar ticket. If you are working a minimum wage job you would need to work about 4 hours. If that was me I would try and have the best time I could. For me that wouldn’t be with a date but people have other opinions.

Castle View had their 2024 prom on Friday, April 19th, at the Denver Aquarium. We asked people who went to see if they went on a date or with a group.

Some students want the best of both worlds. Ella Remy said, “Both because I wanted to be with my friends why bringing my date.” Others just want to be with friends and enjoy their time for their last prom. Lexi Basey said, “I went with a group of people because I wanted to experience my senior prom with my friends.” Some kids couldn’t get a date so they went with a big group instead of by themselves.

Emma Parrish said, “I went to prom with a big group because I didn’t get a date but it ended up being more fun than I thought.” Then there are students who don’t want a date. Adam Goodman said, “I went with a group of my friends cause I thought it would be better that way.” Some other students go on a date. Dawson Hawkins said, “I went with a date. Just wanted to have a good time with a bunch of friends and people were taking dates so I took one too.”
