This week at Castle View High School we are supporting a charity called “There With Care”. There With Care is an organization that helps families with children that are critically ill helping with transportation, food security, housing and other essentials .
This year at Castle View High School the goal was to raise 40,000 dollars for There With Care, we ended up raising over 27,000 dollars. Some of the ways we raise the money for are chosen MAD week charity at Castle View is through competitive school events. One of the events that was held this week was musical chairs, we had two very competitive games this week with one ending with the principal getting involved.
One of the winners was freshman Logan Christiansen. Logan was interviewed by CVHS Media and sayed “ The reason I went to join in the musical chairs is because me and my friends wanted to make a memory for school so when I ended up winning at the end it was super cool. I was really scared when it was just me and the senior (Eva Dellorco) I was going against because I thought I was going to lose.”
