The day that all of Castle View has been waiting for! Homecoming Dance Sept. 22, 2023. Our annual hoco dance this year was Mario themed and CV’s lunch room was decked out in Mario themed decorations. Everyone wore their best outfit and danced till the night was over This year everyone that went to the dance was surprised by the amount of people that went, apposed to other years were barely any people went, (maybe 300 or so), but this year Castle View reached 500 people in total and there was not a lot of room left in the lunchroom for dancing.” this year homecoming was very eventful and fun (Chuck Colombi)” Which is quite fun when you do mash pits! But the sad part about the dance was that the DJ this year was not the greatest according to some castle view students like Clair Jacobsen , Ellie Dunaway and Gigi. The DJ would continuously stop the song halfway through without notice “Ok so the DJ this year actually wasn’t like the best we had better DJs in the past but I feel like he wasn’t the worst but he wasn’t there so he’s right in the middle (Payton Rettmer)” . Other than those little mishaps the theme and dance decorations were very interesting and fun this year. Ellie Dunaway, a sophomore this year said “ I loved the theme this year, and I believe it has been the best one yet.” This year it looks like Homecoming came out with a win and everybody loved it! Castle View can’t wait for the upcoming dances like Prom and Sadie’s, and we will have to come back with more feedback.
