At goalie, Garren Hoffman ‘17 saves a penalty kick that eventually leads to Castle View winning after overtime. “It feels amazing to say that I blocked a shot; it’s unexpected for keepers to actually make a save on a PK,” said Hoffman.
The team celebrates the win after the final penalty kick is taken. After overtime, the teams were still tied 0-0 but the coaches decided to go to penalty kicks to see who got to keep the cup and declare a winner.
Kolbin Dahley ‘17 steals the ball from Douglas County defender. “It was a tough game,” he said. “We were able to stay tied with them even though both teams had good chances to score.”
