The JV football team was lucky enough to get a full season and was able to do well. They’re moving forward as a unit and have good thoughts moving forward.
How did your season go overall?
“My season went very well and helped me gain more knowledge about the game,” Stasiak said.
“It was good overall because I got to build friendships and had a good time with everyone,” Wiebelhaus said.
What are you looking forward to next season?
“I’m looking forward to playing at a higher level and getting stronger and faster for next season so I have a shot at varsity,” Stasiak said.
“I’m looking forward to possibly playing varsity and playing with the same group of guys that I did this year,” Wiebelhaus said.
How did you grow as a football player this season?
“I grew up as a football player by getting to know the sport really well and playing tough games which made me learn more,” Stasiak said.
“I grew as a football player by becoming more physical and aggressive because it was only my second season playing,” Wiebelhaus said.
What would you change about this season?
“I would try and take more time playing safety as well as wide receiver and not just offense,” Stasiak said.
“I would just change how the last few games turned out,” Wiebelhaus said.
How did the team grow?
“Our team grew just by all bonding together and learning how to play as one and not playing by ourselves,” Stasiak said.
“The team grew in a huge way because we spent the whole summer and first term together every day and we all became a lot closer,” Wiebelhaus said.
Sophomore Hudson Stasiak receives a touchdown pass during his game against Rock Canyon High school on Saturday, Oct. 30. The JV team lost by a score of 38-28. “It was a hard game that came down to the wire but we couldn’t get the job done,” Stasiak said.
